... the attempt was good. Everything worked as expected, it didn't lag, and it was a bit of a twist to have the wall break down.
Work on the graphics a bit more and balance out the sound. That's the only suggestions I have.

... I like the way you worked it. The rolling pumpkin effect was a great idea. It is unfortunate the ghosts just disappear, so I do hope to see the second one next year. Good luck on finding the time to make it bigger and better. Great job.

... it definitely has that old donkey kong, mario feel to it. I like it for the most part. I don't like that it restarts at the beginning and there's only "two lives", but otherwise, great job. I think you did alright.

Who would have thought smashing pumpkins could be entertaining? Way to break the mold ;). One thing: It's a bit irritating to have the bat go outside the area. Otherwise, fantastic job. Throughly enjoyed myself.

...undoubtedly I'll be using this come my fall semester. So will my friend. We've ultimately decided this is one of the greatest moves for studying EVER. I agree with the review that says the music is distracting, however, with the distraction it enables a greater concentration variance... ie rather than having total silence (which you can easily get by turning down the volume) you have background noise to learn to tune out.

The story line is definitely different. You've done a great job with most everything, including the music. It's very mood setting

All it lacks...
... Is action movement. It was great up until you start fighting. Shooting back and forth isn't exactly the greatest thrill in the world. You need dodging, running, shooting, throwing, fighting... just movement in general.
The beginning was a bit drawn out as well. It was great for background information, but you need to create the ability to skip, or join all the information into one screen to flip through at will.
Albeit, fantastic, but...
the follow through on the mouse is a little off. Otherwise, wonderful, love the graphics, sound, ideal, everything.

Huh, what'd you know...
I think I actually like this game. It does have quite a few bugs to be worked out. Definitely. Like the ways you can move the blocks and the moves counter. But there is potential I would like to see shine brighter. Keep striving.
